Vinje old Church (1670 - 1871)

From "Land of the Midnight Sun: Summer and Winter Journey through Sweden,Norway, Lapland and Nothern Finland", by Paul DuChaillu, George Nimes Limited, London 1899. 
Close to the village Vinje there is special two hundred years old wooden church. The ceiling is rounded and covered with stars, the walls are painted in bright colors. - An iron cross and a wooden cross are all that are left on the grave yard. Service are no more carried out in this temple of God.
